My MP100 popped today and I'm going to try trying it with 23 strings again. See how long it lasts with BG66 and I'll try the same with 22 strings. Both will be strung at 26lbs and will be used approximately the same amount of time. Bye NS9900 (for a while).
i did not cut my strings... they look fine and my strings + racket seem still pretty solid. I will give some feedbacks later. thx guys
having that extra cross is no problem the stringing pattern for my black knight racuqets says that i should string it with 23 crosses so thats what i do and it plays just as good as if i did it with 22 crosses kinda feels better in some way with the 23rd cross in though. and i feel alot safer about a misshit near the top of the racquet that it wont break as easily since theres that extra cross there.
Each racket has their own stringing pattern. Each stringer has their own style to string as well. Some grommets may be smaller than others and the racket might not be as strong there. I think that's why they have suggestions for the racket's stringing patterns.
I mean: U give yr racket to string and u don't specify what u want? U can always tell the stringer (or yr GF) that U want such tension and U want only 22 crosses, no offense in that.
Anyway are you plan to marry her back home? Just kidding anyway. I think it should be fine. Don't worry just make sure you keep contact the shuttlecock at the sweetspot of the racquet.
