It's head heavier than either the SP21 or SW35 according to the specs.

The SP21 and SW35 are very evenly balanced - as is the BS10 - so the Meteor is a bit of a departure for Victor. The BS and SW model lines are pretty much full, so it's good to see them do something that's going to compete with the Voltrics of the world.

I don't agree with the term that the SW35 is even balanced. My SW35 (strung and with Karakal Super PU) has the balance point 310mm. This feels headheavy.

I don't think MX 80's comment is really said by Lee Yong Dae, if its so , how come he's not using it , he is still using brave sword 9 now ?

yup, second this.. but the spec publish recently in victor tw website state its even balance maybe the new version and really even balance if the victor decide to change the spec and will wait for someone to review it .. if true.. time to restock old sw35 :D for sure.. but if the spec list in the website carries the old spec i wonder how heavy x80 will be since the x80 spec published little heavy while sw35 clearly show its even balance..

I had a SW35 for about 6 months and it's no more head heavy than an Arc10! I hope the codes don't have different weighting specs, mine was a TW coded 3U. It wasn't even close to being as head heavy as my AT900T.

Maybe a difference based on production which is normal. Some companies state the balance point plus +/-5mm. Maybe I have a racket with the balance point +5mm and you had a racket with balance point -5mm. This could explain the different feeling.
I have the DE coded SW35 a.k.a the SIW35 which should be the same. Mine is 3U,too.
Did you applied a thick replacement grip and an overgrip?

Yeah, I bought both a BS10 and a SW35 at the same time, and both had the same balance point which was a bit of a surprise. Of course they both played very differently, but the SW35 definitely didn't feel head heavy. Just really stiff :)

Yeah, I grip all my rackets with a Karakal PU Super replacement grip, which tends to make rackets slightly more head heavy then they normally would be.

Right now, I got 2 SW35's with me (3UG2/both Hk coded) and one is noticeably heavier and head heavier while the lighter one seems a tad but stiffer...go figure. I'm looking to get another one to match the specs on the heavier one :)

It's been available in China since the 26th. Eric from RKEP is chasing Victor Taiwan up after the New Year festivities. He's not thrilled China got access to all the new Victors before anyone else......and frankly neither am I because I've preordered one. :)

    That's what I said too!

I didn't ask how much it is, I just said "Get me one"

Victors are very affordable, and as the MX80 is for sale in China for RMB1035/USD157 I'm expecting to get one somewhere under that.

Yonex performance at half the price. How can you go wrong? :)

Plus they're way cooler than Yonex.

Anyone can confirm if the X80 would be avaliable in Taiwan (Taipei) this week?
My cousin would be able to help me bring one back.
