Me too, birth control pills ? I can't imagine young girls taking it, those 16/17/18 years old athletes.

    SS365 also failed for me.

Many female athletes do that, very common for water related sports for an instance. Not only birth control pills but they do have some meds to stop or delay immediately. I am sure everyone wants to keep the water clear, don't you?
And it does affect the performance depends on the person. Some people could actually collapse or pass out from it. Well you can read all the details from google or wikipedia but that's the general idea.

I think you tube start to ban these videos because of copyrights? Only official streaming from badminton world TV is available on you tube. Even that is region restricted. Need VPN to get around it

Kevin said that he and Marcus were quite overwhelmed by the fast hall. That made them did more errors. I hope they can handle it better tomorrow.

This is a fast hall. Ginting might have a slight advantage in this tournament against Axelsen tomorrow compared to in Japan Open.

Too much of story around Marin. It is just a temporary loss of form

3? I'd rather have a nap. Ahsan and Setiawan look almost like they need to walk in with assistance. Rarely seen such a sleepy match like theirs against Liu/Zhang, almost no movement, and if Liu hadn't thrown it they wouldn't even be here :D I'm not even sure who to favor in that match but I'm absolutely certain it's not going to be interesting to watch.

Her form was terrible, but it looked like she hardly cared whether she won or lost. I didn't see her match at the Japan Open, but I'd never seen TTY play a close match, or one in which she was losing, without pumping herself up even once.

I think the most likely explanation is that she didn't even want to be there. She's held the No. 1 ranking for a while now, but Marin will take it back pretty soon if Tai doesn't really want to keep it that badly.

Did you see the match? I never got the feeling at any moment, not even when she was up 12-8 in the second game, that TTY really wanted to win.

Even if this is a start of decline of Tai, I’m sure the field would be much more even in competition, rather than CM taking the place of TTY

I don't think you can be No. 1 in the world for almost two years without caring a lot.

No, I think today was most definitely not "typical Tai." I've seen her lose some matches over the past few years, but this was the flattest, least-inspired performance I've seen from her.

But then again, what's at stake for her in these "Super" tournaments? She's been No. 1 for almost two years, she's won tons of minor tournaments. It's perfectly understandable if she finds it hard to get motivated by anything other than WC/Olympics. But thanks to badminton's one-major-a-year calendar, she has to wait 10 months for the next one to come around!

Regarding Natsir/Towi vs Watanabe/Higashino, Towi is going to work hard to cover for Natsir today

Dont see this ending well but they will do their best.

She can play her last and most beloved Allengland next year, only that matters.
