the serial is invalid for a racquet produced on that date. or the date code is invalid for that serial number. so how did you get this racquet?

a person came to singapore (I am not sure) to get it and then bought it to me. He told that this racket was got from Yonex (There are some persons working in yonex who got it out).
and How can we know the date code is suitable to the serial number?

I have seen enough genuine racquets to know. also, if you scroll through this thread, leeshim has pointed out the legit serial/date codes which i use to compare with the serial and date code you have provided.

Well as I normally point out. If you know what the genuine one looks like ahead of time, you can easily tell the counterfeit within a blink of an eye.

    Hi everyone,
just thought I'd post my nsk9 type X serial for the heck of it.
Its a TH code, but this one isn't from sumai.

By the way, the cone now creaks, does this affect performance?
It creaks on shaft flex and if u just squeeze it a bit between your fingers.
Though there is no visable cracks in the cone itself or anywhere else.

I know when I had first gotten it hadn't creaked.
Any input on this would be much appreciated!:)

    Thanks!

    Yoshya,

Shouldn't be affecting performance. There is a thread about creaking somewhere on the forums. Just incase, did you check to see if there any tiny fractures when it was being flexed. (note: the fractures may not appear or just barely visible if the shaft is not flexed).

Can you provide a picture of the cone please with the Yonex logo visible? First impressions so far looks like a counterfeit because it looks too reddish.

here are some more pics. take into concideration that the camera doesnt capture color and light as well as the human eye.
