    Dishes for supper:

1.Jelly fish with shredded roast duck and pickle vegetables
    2.Seafood Fried rice
    3.Fried vermicelli noodle
    4.Hokkien noodle
5.Thick rice noodle with peppered fry beef

That’s all the dishes I could think of Ken, It would be much easier if the menu were available in front of me.

Btw, “dinh also volunteer to help thim for wednesday nite using the white board.” You must me mistaken Ken b/c I’m not a regular on Wednesday night but I’ll be happy to help Tim organising the Friday whiteboard if he decided to use them.

I’m glad that Chris had organised everything for us before he fly to Malaysia to attend his mum funeral.

    Thank Chris

supper time + session report 4/7

    here's the session report

    32 PEOPLE
there were 2 person who came and left, obviously doesn't read the board and know of what's happening tonite.

    1ST TIMERS
there were quite a few first timers and it took forever to get things started.

    SHUTTLES COMING
as some people were busily trying to figure out what to do without shuttle for half an hour.

    FINISH TIME
the place was closed at 11:00, which was really really late.

    supper time report

location: star east cafe (as i wasn't going to eat, so i pick a place where there's no minimum charge)
note for future supper time people: please make sure where we are going (or have someone's phone no in case you get lost), otherwise you would be waiting in the cold like dinh. Shy, by the way, from memory i though you asked those 2 to wait outside village.

finish time: 12:30 onwards. i am going home sleeping full stop.

    conversation topics are as followed
    - which phone is good
    - how daniel and his wife met
    - shy's obsession with learning mandarin by watching chinese drama
    - happy palace CCC gathering .... eventually
for once, politics were not included in tonite's topic.

There's no way you can talk/listen to the other end of the table so i don't know what you guys (oscar, thim, edward) said most of the time, sorry.

    Thanks Ken for the report.

Actually 35 people attended, two of which left due to the initial chaos.
Luckily, everything settled pretty quickly. So thanks to everyone for welcoming new players, and organizing games before courts were empty.
Hopefully we'll have the magnetic board system back soon!

    There were 8 first timers in total: Aaron-T, Jed-B. Robert-M, Lochlan-G, Xi Xi-L, Nalanda-R, Loi-L and Felina-C.

Lai Kwai Mooi departed on 27 June 2008.

    .
    Greetings,

Thank you to all who have posted reports for CCC. :):):)

I have returned to Melbourne and I shall be seeing you all in our next CCC session.

My deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all members of Badminton Central for your kind support during my bereavement.

It's great that Badminton Central has become such a kind community.

And learning from my mother, Lai Kwai Mooi, who departed on 27 June 2008, this saying rings in my ears...

"Perfect kindness acts without thinking of kindness"
Lao-Tze, c.600 BC (Chinese philosopher and founder of Taoism)

    Cheers... chris

    supper time report 11/7

supper time attendance: edmund, chris, siva, daniel p, hkhung, dinh, savun
    dishes
dishes: black bean beef dried noodle, 2 congees (sampan, shreeded meat and scrambled egg), combination fried rice, dried fire shreded duck

matters of notice at supper time:

    SAVUN
tried to serve dishes into his teacup. thank you for making the supper time report writing easier for providing another "event".

    DINH
who look likes a monk with a new haircut. you + savun (with your hood up) got the moves to look like rapper.

    Edmund
who will eventually move to melbourne.

    Daniel p
who doesn't read the forum and is surprised he is mentioned.

    HKHUNG
was asked to let everybody know in near future if he was to organise function. and also astonished to find that he is associated with the "10 pin bowling" social function. it just goes to show how many things are in chris' s head.

    friendly matches
would be good if the no is not too many (6 to be rite).

feel free to add/write some more comments. cheers

comes to think of it, there were a few matters discussed

    EDMUND

    DANIEL P
saying eastlilnk would save you lots of time for travelling

    CHRIS
discussing the matter of whether people to join membership - hence the possibility of starting a thread "should we join membership."
