I was hoping there was a change of policy after the move to HK Coliseum :(, I was planning to take my trip to HK next year with the intention of attending all the matches. And it would be less fun if I could not use my camera!

That's for next week. I'm sure all photography rules will be broken with abandon.

She definitely is cute with many facial expressions! When she played here in the Canadian Open this year, I talked to the photographer who travels often with the badminton tour, reporting for bwf and for some of the european countries, he said she was always a very shy girl, and yet, she has multiple tattoos on her, besides that name on her left forearm, she has one on her left leg above the ankle, one on her right back of her neck, and one on the left side on her lower back. Interesting character!

Who does the announcing? See the face behind the voice. She must be tired being the announcer for the whole day and week.

i have to say that pictures captured by Anita and Cheung this year has been fantastic. not just technically with proper exposure as well as timing, but also the variety of actions and non-action shots including out-of-court snaps and excellent facial expression.

this is top quality stuff. really appreciate the time and effort!

    Thanks Kwun

I like the vacuuming picture. Every time the lady changed direction, the wire had to be flicked over her head :) to the amusement of many.

vacuuming actually makes a lot of sense. the Yonex mat used are not smooth mats but instead feels more like 30 grit sand paper. it is hard to use a mob on them. over time the feather pieces and dirt do get accumulated.
