    2011 Malaysia Open SS: Day 4 Quarter-Finals (Friday 21-Jan)

It is good to know that Lee Chong Wei, Taufik Hidayat and Lin Dan are still having a chance to win the Mens Singles title here. :):):)

There are really not many surprises (that we can say) about who have arrived at the Quarter-Finals (in all the 5 events/categories).

If you have a good feeling/prediction of players who will make it into the Semi-Finals, please let us know. :):):)

LCW to meet LD in semi, and Simon to Taufik if all goes according to the book.
Others are not so easy to predict. ;)

At the pace he is going, CL will be next best player after LD and LCW.

    Simon vs Alam
    Linda vs Wang Yihan
    Bona/Ahsan vs Cho/Kwon
    Hendra/Alvent vs Mads/Jonas

Hmm lets see how our youngster, Linda, fare against world #3 Wang Yihan.... So far, quite good perfomance by Linda here, she beat Yippy in 2 sets.... hope Linda can go further.... :)

Is it safe to say that Astro will show Court 1 tomorrow which involves the 3 surviving MAS players?

I think the MS players will win and INA is assured of a place in the Final.

As for MD, I really hope Bona/Ahsan can progress to the SF and face Ko/Yoo again. It's the year they rise up the ranking table and hopefully reach top 8!

Not so sure about a LCW/LD SF.

A CL/LD match will be so awkward LD may just gift CL a walkover so CL can meet LCW one match fresher. LCW in fragile form, don't let the Hu Yun match mislead you.

The other matches are anybody's guess except for WD which CHN owns.
It's another day of surprises waiting.

If there is gifting, I would think it is CL gifting to LD. I think LD wanna win this one and one step closer to get it over with.

You folks better enjoy this MO11...not much chance of seeing the Titans play...the end is near or 2012 is around the corner.

2011 Malaysia Open SS: I think Simon will be facing Taufik at the Semi-Finals

    .
Well, it is Alamsyah Yunus who is Simon's opponent at the Quarter-Finals. To me Alamsyah is a great player, but I think Simon is on fire at this 2011 Malaysia Open SS.

I think Simon will be facing Taufik at the Semi-Finals. :):):)

2011 Malaysia Open SS: I believe that Alamsyah is fitter than Simon

    .
I think our BCers, Suet Yan and Adrian, summarised the matches well. :):):)

Tired after two long matches? About this, I believe that Alamsyah is fitter than Simon.

Someone should put a big banner saying "Misbun for President of BAM!".

No venture no gain. We will never know how he manage and also knowing the outcome of the success. ;)
