Lack of participants in doubles category for this first ever GP Gold in London.

Very surprised not to see Chris Adcock nor Gabby White on the list.

Lin Dan withdrew? Hope it doesn't affect his enrolment in the Dutch Open.

Still, happy to see the names of MS Tian Houwei, Xue Song , Huang Yuxiang, and WS Wang Xin, Deng Xuan, Hui Xirui. If Lin Dan plays, he'll most likely win and collect the ranking points; too bad he withdrew, hope it's not for the wrong reasons. I very much wish that it's because he wants to play at the Den Open PSS and don't want to overstretch himself participating in three tournaments in a row and there's also the French Open SS in Oct to consider. Better not raise my hopes too high. Who knows he may just play the Dutch Open and fly home to celebrate his birthday on 14th Oct.

Aha. It's possible they are getting married.
