JC has regained some points 8-14, but is it too late?

A very long rally which favoured JC in the end with a net cord drop. 9-14.

JOJ is not slowing down! He went ahead with another point 18-11.
    Not JC's day I suppose.

Not wise to test JOJ's smashing ability by lifting!

Poor JC's winning streak ends here when he could have won in straights!

Congrats to JOJ for being able to fight back from behind in G2 to finally take the match.
JC's inexperience cost him the match.

Yup, the momentum in second game but too bad he couldn't finish it, similar case when he almost defeated Chen Long at MAS Premier semifinal last April.

There should be a cantonese version, but the original one must be in mandarin

Not an easy win for Tian Houwei at all, Hu Yun's crafty play keeps THW on tenterhooks until the every end. A good lesson for the younger man.

    Well, you might be right.

I have always thought of the film as of Hong Kong because:

    (1) it is based on a fictional work by a Hong Kong writer: Lillian Lee
    (2) the Concubine is portrayed by a Hong Kong actor: Lesile Cheung
    (3) the film is partly financed and owned by a Hong Kong company, though the other two companies which financed it are from China.
    (4) the film was submitted to Oscar by Hong Kong (not China).
    (5) the film was never released or screened in China.
    (6) it was distributed globally by a Hong Kong company.
