Susi also won in Superseries. so 2-2 is more accurate. plus Sudirman and Sea is nothing compared to World and Series.

and pair of indonesian players suffer horrific injury on top of their lousy roster. It also happened to Sapsiree, i think she will be out for a year now. The LixueRui-esque injury is so nasty. If it happened at the beginning of tournament, i think the story will be different.

Rexy Mainaky's effect is not as big as predicted. The system running in THA more or less similar with JPN. There will be no national training camp, all players/pairs in their clubs. The head coach's power is only about player's selection into national team. Like JPN national team, they're are a club member and do training in their respective club.

THA players/pairs have already shown their strength before Rexy come. I believe it will remain the same even without Rexy coming into Thailand. Rexy's function referring as steering committee and the works done by executive committee which is their coach in each category. Off-course having Rexy on THA's side will give them more confidence.

no wonder even PBSI also using clubs players to be in national team, for example Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, they are once club players partnering different people, after they joined national team, both pair together and today they are world class players..

meanwhile our Malaysia only rely on BAM, clubs like KLRC, Seri Mutiara, Petaling BC, etc are sidelined...

For me Sudirman is bigger than regular superseries tournament. While SEA Games even though is smaller but very important for us. It's about our pride as one of badminton pwerhouse countries in SEA. We have never failed before, this is the first time we do.

Talking about Indo coach working for other countries. There was this funny moment when Candra Wijaya was a commentator on Live TV, while his brother -Indra Wijaya- giving instructions to Lee Zii Jia. Another Co-Host teased Candra, how come that coach look a lot like Candra, are you guys related? :)
