I currently own Ti8s and I'm thinking of switching to the armortecs. Specifically the 500. Anyone who has used either raquets have any comments on the feel differences on these raquets. I've seen some posts on MP99 vs AT500 and 700, but no one really mentions Ti8. Any suggestions would be nice.

    thanks

    Ditto Ti-7... ;)

I'm thinking of getting an AT 500 as well. Shuttlecock, how would you compare the Ti-7 with the Ti-8? Is the 8 more head-light and more flexible? Plus, what tension/string do you like?

I do own a Ti7 as well. I'm not a big fan of it, to me its not head light and I don't like it as a doubles raquet. I feel as though I can generate more power though with the overhead shots. I would use this raquet as a singles. I find the 8 sitffer too. I like 23 pounds on both with bg65.

i just strung a 2U ti8 yesterday. If one likes ti8, then easing into an AT500 should be no problem as the head balance between the two is similar except 3U/4U AT500 is overall lighter. I think ti8 is a tad stiffer than AT500 but i have not play ti8 nor at500 together. It could be ti8's 2U (heavier feel) made it seem a bit stiffer. As for the ti7, i dont seem to generate good power on that racket. AT500 is selling quite well here in my area. I know one school kid got his stolen already.

Well got to try it out and I loved it. The raquet has good feel to it and it feels comparable to my Ti8.
I now own two AT 500's strung at 24 pounds with BG65
