Mostly doubles, transition from tennis last year. Don't know if there is any apacs seller in nyc area that is on this board.
iunno i live in canada. cant help u but u can always order online and pay for shipping uhm if u play doubles . i wld recommend the tantrum 300 then . its a great all around racket easy to manevour
Yea, i've read many good reviews of it, but i promise myself this time i will not buy a racket that i haven't tested lol... So i much rather prefer to buy 1 after demoing it. I would probably just buy the demo 1 on the spot since you never know if the one you order somewhere else is within spec, i've heard from some of the forum members with the Apacs rackets being out of spec.
High end APACS rackets are 1/2 or 1/3 the price of Yonex and they are really good and off specifications are insignificant.
I owned 2 apacs tantrum 300 and 1 lethal 70. Both are amazing, but I prefer tantrum over the Lethal, a bit less stiff and less demanding. Power, control, everything is good. Before apacs, I played with Yonez Arc Saber 10, this racket is not close to be as good as Apacs high end stuff. It's a no brainer for 1\3 of the price. Also, I try the apacs PU grip, on par with Karakal grips. Last for long time, but like everything else, when he is very wet, he becomes slippery a bit.
^ word, totally agreed. i tried arc saber 10 too and i prefer my lethal 70 over it any day it just wasnt my thing.
and its harder to get ur shots right @ 1st times , guess tantrum is just more forgiving 0.o lethal 70 user. 2 cents, pc
lol just curious wont it be better if t300 had the specs of nanospeed 9900 ?? cuz ns 9900 is geared towards doubs sorry i dont really know waht im saying (A)
Less demanding = first time you touch thid racket you don't need to adjust your timing, sweet spot is large, power come effortless.
Would you say they are more on the hold side or repulsion side? Does Apacs have some plot chart like Yonex and Victor?
Can anybody confirm or dispute that the APACS Furious 767 is excellent for offensive doubles play? Is it still available at the shops?
even balanced/slight heavy and stiff with fast frame for doubles sound like perfect doubles weapon to me.. but..dream on guys!
