    Hi Members!
I recently purchased an Arcsaber Z-Slash switching from an old Isometric 63. It is strung with BG66UM and I had the opportunity to play with it the other day.

I felt that it was like an extension of the arm and playing with it made a lot of my shots more controlled and more powerful than ever! I did have some timing issues but I had gotten used to it after about 3 hours.

I want to know what your thoughts are on this racquet :)

When I first tried and bought a Z-Slash for myself, I loved it!
I enjoyed the smashes produced with this racket, it was great! But the first 2 weeks were bad because of timing issues however after that I enjoyed the racket.
I tested the racket with different tensions between 24-26lbs and tried different strings. BG66/ BG66UM/ BG80/ BG80 Power. A range of them.

What I liked a lot about this racket was how the racket cut through the air so easily. I felt clears were effortless and smashes were great but the down side must be around the net because of the smaller, compact frame but it take some time to get used to.

I still have this racket as one of my main rackets but at the moment I'm trying out the Arcsaber 10 because I have been needing to gain more control around the net and the wider frame allows me to do that but nonetheless I still enjoy using this racket. I bought the Taufik Hidayat version as well! :)

Drew you remind me of my friend who loves this racket so much that he wants to get the TH version as well.

I tested this racket and like you said clears and smashes were great, but I find that net play is easy as well. Anyway it's strung with a BG66-UM @ 23lbs, but it produces a rather dull sound, have you got any experience with this?

My racket is at 24 lbs and I have a nice sound. I toi had timing issues with this racquet at angered me so much during my second session with it.

When I string my Z-Slash I have it 24lbs and above, I get sensitive sometimes when the tension doesn't feel right and cut them.

AH! I know what you mean now by "rather dull sound", thats because after 2 weeks the BG66UM, usually feel and sound dull, I didn't really like that but I overall, I love the strings on the Z-Slash the repulsion from the string combined with the Z-Slash sounds great! :)

i didn't have any problems with the racket head being a bit smaller, but i do enjoy the flexible shaft especially when i defend smashes, i could really feel the shaft flexing. weight is just right, and even balance, swing weight is also not too heavy for me.

Un-possible!! It's newly strung . Could be 23 is low for this racket or the stringing was bad? But it did feel like a 23..

I like the flexible shaft, especially when I need to flick my wrist to smash, I like that a lot :)

like I said BG66UM, feels great for the 2 weeks but after that is starts to feel boring

I like this racket a lot to compared to my voltric z force. Only played with it for a quick 40mins and it feels so good and plays very nice even for my level. Weight wise I find it much easier to use than my z force and feel easier to play my shots. I'm using bg80 power at 22lbs.

Congrats on the purchase. It's a very good racket. I've two of them, 21lbs BG66, no issue. Timing initially was off but once you're use to it, beautiful.

Sorry for the late reply. One game only. Lobs, smash, drops all OK. it's the quick flicks and drives during fast exchanges at net area and half court defences that the racket cuts through the air faster than normal frame rackets and miss hits are often. After that, your eyes, mind and hand co-ordination will adjust.

To practice on your own and get use to the returning speed of the shuttle with the ASZ, hitting against a wall (the shuttle) really helps.
