    Hi,

I will be visiting Fremont for 7 weeks and I wonder if there is any places where I could play badminton down there? For e.g. clubs, or group of regulars and etc.

There's actually a badminton club in Fremont, United Badminton Club. The next closet would be Smash City which is located in Milpitas which is about 15 - 20 min from Fremont. After that would be Bintang Badminton Academy which is located in Sunnyvale and would be about 25 - 30 min from Fremont. And finally Golden Gate Badminton Club which is in Menlo Park and is probably a good 60 min from Fremont.

Fremont is very large and spread out, so depending on where you live, minut3s, the clubs Joseph mentioned may be even closer. I live in south-central Fremont, and driving to United Badminton takes about 10mins on surface streets, but Golden Gate Badminton is all freeway driving and can be reached in 20mins.

    Hi Monto,

Thanks for the information. I am not even sure which hotel I'll be staying. I will find out more when I get there. I will definitely check out United and Golden Gate. Do any guys frequent these two clubs here? So any idea what's the rough time where people will be playing there so I could pay a fee and join in?
