Oo shoot, nah they won't jeopardize AP's WD chances by letting her sweat out in WS. Unlike PBL its 21 pt format. Let alone podium finish, now I am afraid of getting fatality in the KO.
Lin Dan, FHF and Zhang Nan are going.... http://sports.sina.com.cn/others/badmin/2017-02-13/doc-ifyameqr7458526.shtml That's a lot of Olympic gold medalists!!!
The Asia Mixed Team Championships is the preliminary rounds of the Sudirman Cup for the Asian zone. As Team CHN is already qualified, there's no need for her to play the prelims but Li Yongbo wants their largely young team members who've no big-match experience to go through the mill of a sort of major team event in preparation for the actual Sudirman Cup. Lin Dan, Fu Haifeng and Zhang Nan's participation is more of a supporting role to give their young guns a boost in confidence. I think CHN will probably field their young cohort at the Asia Mixed as far as possible, that's the main purpose for sending the youngsters, unless the young ones couldn't handle the pressure, then the oldies would come in to help steady the ship.
Which tv channel is broadcasting badminton asia mixed team championship in india Sent from my 1201 using Tapatalk
Where can we watch the live scores of badminton asia mixed team championship Sent from my 1201 using Tapatalk
The only source to follow live-score is here : https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...706AE1-774D-4E28-8E91-3150EB93200F&d=20170214 Don't be surprise that Badminton Asia Confederation isn't so good and professional to handle regional tournament, usually slowly updated and less-informed as they did in previous events like annual Badminton Asia Championships. Tournamentsoftware last updated was Friday (10th February) whereas day-1 group stage will be started soon (09.00am)
It's really different with Euro Mixed Team Champships, they're ready and so well organized : https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...862CB1-299E-4CCB-978F-62E4D66247D1&d=20170215
What can you expect from Vietnam? Maybe the roof will leak again. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Yup, they revise the initial scheduled as mentioned in tournament prospectus. CHN v HKG => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...50706AE1-774D-4E28-8E91-3150EB93200F&match=11 Both China and Hong Kong don't field their higher-ranked player in singles category. MS - Qiao Bin v Vincent Wong Wing Ki Qiao Bin has positive H-2-H stats against Wong WK, 3-0 at previous meetings. WS - Chen Yufei v Yip Pui Yin
Don't mind the lack of streaming right now but it'd be pretty terrible if we didn't get any streaming for the SF/F sessions
Ho Chi Minh city is the capital of Vietnam which isn't a backward country but a developing economy since year 2000 and posting one of the highest growth rates in the world. I don't see why it can't do better than that, organizing the Asia Mixed Team Championships to generate international publicity and raise the nation's profile as well as the city's would require a certain standard of service that should meet the expectations of participants and viewers from all over Asia. I trust Vietnam is well capable of that and the Vietnamese Badminton Association and the sponsor, ROBOT, Vietnam's leading electrical appliances manufacturer, are up to it. I'm sure Badminton Asia, the governing body of the sport in Asia under the flagship of BWF, will be very pleased to see the event well run and successfully held. Give us livestreaming and sufficient TV coverage as befitting its status as Asia Mixed Team Championships, a continental event for Asia where most of the top badminton playing nations are located, when even lower tier tournaments such as some GPGs, the WJC and AJC, not to mention non-BWF sanctioned professional leagues, are able to do so to a large extent.
