Badminton grounds in liverpool

    Hello just about to move to australia and was wondering if there was any place near liverpool or Kemps creek that have badminton grounds for casual play. Cheers

    Sorry to disappoint you....... but badminton is almost non existence in Liverpool/Kemps Creek. Aussies in general are not interested in that game and its popularity is limited to the Asian communities. There might be some people hitting the shuttles at Gough Whitlam Leisure Centre Liverpool or Fairfield Leisure Centre, Fairfield.

    You will find established badminton clubs as you come nearer the city or in the North West ( Epping, Castle Hill, Macquarie, Cherrybrook e.t.c)

    If you look at established clubs under Sydney Badminton Association, none is listed for Liverpool area. The nearest club you can consider is at Lidcombe which is around 40 minutes away or hit the motorway to those universities' clubs.

    If you are keen, you should consider playing in the clubs listed even if it takes 45 min-1 hour by car.
