Fatigue played the part. Sourabh is not in his element . This is his 4th final in 2 months. Everybody know how it would be. He even played 6 matches in some tournaments. Not to say that he is dead tired . He did not play well today. Shi Yuqi used that opportunity very well.

A back-to-back title for the young gun, Shi Yuqi, playing three tournaments in a row in as many weeks.

Sourabh played well , just didn't handle the crucial points better than Shi Yuqi.

Indeed, Shi Yuqi far outstrips Tian Houwei and Wang Zhengming, no comparison

We can atleast name Tian Houwei when talking about Shi Yuqi. We should not even bring Wang Zhenming near this young chap.

I wonder how people used to praise him as " Next super King " something like that.

But anyhow, we should not criticize a retired player. There is more in real life than reel life. Hope he enjoys the most.

Considering Sourabh verma's ranking as 57, he is really coming back from injury. But unfortunate, he did not display his full form in the finals. Hope he improves further in the coming tournaments.
