    .

*sigh* ..... sad day for me. :(

My beloved BS LYD 'imploded' on court today.

Lined up for an almighty smash, mis-hit the shuttle with the frame, then ..... *piak* !

    :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Are you sure it ain't just a manufacturing defect???? Such a nasty demolition, just by mishitting a shuttle... seems improbable (Scary actually:eek:)

Whoever strung that racket could be at fault as well , so dont be too harsh on yourself .

Nah .... don't think it was a manufacturing defect .... more like a player 'defect'. :D

In all fairness, i did string it to the maximum stated tension ..... 30lbs.
So, high tension + big smash mishit = heartache.

The actual fracture was initially at the 3 o'clock position only, the other fracture at the 5 o'clock was a result of the tension pulling unevenly and cracking the frame. :(

Thanks for the consolation bro ...... i was pretty sad when i saw it, but i've already replaced it with anther LYD. :D

My stringer is fine ..... it's just the player/owner that sucks. :D

Yeah ..... i actually do love this racket. :)

You know the feeling when you search high and low for that 'near perfect' racket that is suitable for your game and playing style? ..... and then you actually find it?

    Pure joy , i tell you ..... :D

That is, of course, until the NEXT 'near perfect' comes along again ..... :)
