    I heard of a new place in Fremont CA. Rumor has it 18 courts and a classy coach. Table Tennis too. Heard its near Warm Springs.

    California Badminton Academy is this place, http://www.cbaweb.net, isn't it? Are you sure they have courts in Fremont or are they building a new place?

    Yea, I think that is them, I heard they are opening a new facility. Rumor has it they have a meeting with the city like the end of the month to finalize everything. Gonna tear up the East Bay!!!

    i have also heard such rumor. Rose Lei and her academy is behind it.

    we will have to watch the Planning Commission minutes.

    the next city of Fremont Planning Commission meeting is Jan 28th. we will see more details when that comes up.

    so there is 18 courts, any details about how high the gym is? and are they going to have badminton mats (yonex or victor or other brands) or just wood floors like high school gyms?

    I believe they will have mats that absorb impact so nicer in knees and legs, I think it is a chinese brand that one of the national teams was training on, durable with good grip. Ceilings were 30+ feet higher than BBC

    so today is the 29th of jan, did this gym get approved or denied by the city of Fremont?

    The badminton academy was approved last night unanimously by the Planning Commission. Per Project Planner that I emailed.:)
