Finding where's CCC Badminton Club at Badminton Central

    Greetings,

We have been encouraging our CCC players to join Badminton Central. Surprisingly, many have said that they couldn't find our CCC Badminton Site.

Perhaps, it is because many are new to BC and that CCC Badminton Club is removed from the rest of the threads located at 'Australia / New Zealand'.

Here's where you can find our CCC Badminton Site:
    (1) Click on 'Places to play / Local Events'
    (2) Then click on 'Australia / New Zealand'
    (3) Find us above kwun's Announcement 'Search archives before you start a new thread', at the top of that page.

If you still couldn't find us, then just click here

    Cheers... chris-ccc

Posting via Badminton Central is working much better than via Facebook and emails

    .
    Greetings,

Our CCC Badminton is still receiving too many emails from many BCers.
Our Gmail address (cccbadminton@gmail.com) is working too slow (to cope). :crying::crying::crying:

It is found that posting via Badminton Central is working much better than via Facebook and emails.

Please send messages via our CCC Badminton Forum Site at BC: click here

    Cheers... chris-ccc

Many of our CCCers don't pay attention to read our notices posted

    .
Thank you for your suggestion, drifit, :):):)

Unfortunately many of our CCCers don't pay attention to read our notices posted and/or hear our announcements made.

They just want to hop on the courts to play because CCC welcomes all players (subject to limited vacancies/slots available).

Perhaps one day, we shall only admit BCers to participate in our CCC sessions.

    Cheers... chris-ccc

    "cruel" idea.
in other words, to ensure they pay attention. :p
if they reluctant to read at notice board, can you stick it at the entrance door? if they fail to notice, just kick them out.

Perhaps, many of our CCCers can't find time to read any notices anywhere/anyhow

    .
    Hi drifit,

Also, many CCCers want to stop getting vast number of emails from CCC at Badminton Central? So I told them (as you have suggested):

    ====== * ====== * ====== start suggestion ====== * ====== * ======

To unsubscribe from our individual CCC threads, follow the steps below:
    1. UserCP
    2. Edit Options
    3. Messaging & Notification
    4. Default Thread Subscription Mode

If you set the 'Thread Subscription Mode' to 'Do not subscribe' or 'No email notification', then you won't be getting vast number of emails from CCC at Badminton Central.

    ====== * ====== * ====== end suggestion ====== * ====== * ======

And CCCers were informed: It is best to bookmark our CCC Site (click here) and read our threads/posts/communication when you find time.

Perhaps, many of our CCCers just can't find time to read any notices anywhere/anyhow. :(

then, you should read the notice to them.
gather them to the court(during any session), use loudspeaker and yell at them. if they fail to do so, i will ask them jump into the river.

Are we promoting CCC Badminton Club, or are we promoting Badminton in Melbourne, AUS?

    .
Tell them to jump into the river?:confused::confused: We cannot do that. ;););)

Our BCers will ask "Are we promoting CCC Badminton Club, or are we promoting Badminton in Melbourne, Australia?"

Many names get mixed up with their faces at CCC

    .
It's already difficult to remember 1,000 faces.

You shouldn't be surprised that many names get mixed up with their faces at CCC.:eek::eek:

To move an old CCC thread into our CCC Site

    .
Hahaha... drifit, you are correct; It's not easy to remember so many names and faces.
But it's good if we can remember some of those who have played with us at CCC.

On this note... Wonder if you can do us a favour?
This thread (click here) was part of our CCC activities. But it was left out from our CCC Site.

Is it possible for you to move it into our CCC Site?
