Only The Analects of Confucius and Zhongyong(Doctrine of the Mean) and Daxue(The Great Learning), translated into English. Somehow I haven't come round to reading the whole of Mencius, only excerpts.

If you're interested , there's an online pdf copy free for download (included among the Four Books, the other three being DaXue and Zhongyong and Mencius[Mengzi]) translated by Robert Eno with notes and commentaries that are quite good and helpful. There are other translations, hard to say which is the best, read a few and make comparisons if you're keen. http://www.indiana.edu/~p374/Analects_of_Confucius_(Eno-2015).pdf

Yep, the Analects I actually have 2 translations of it, one by James Legge and the other one by Burton Watson, the latter is one of my fav translators of the Asian Classics.
    Thanks for the Eno version.
I asked about 春秋 because its the most boring works of Confucius hehe, since you admired him greatly thought you've read it.
No, never read Mengzi. not fond of him, I find his teachings rather 'off' for modern times. his thought 'man is naturally inclined to goodness' didn't reflect the age he lived in (the warring state period).
I prefer Sunzi. his ' man's nature is evil; goodness is the result of concious activity' suits me well :)
I recommend this book 'Sunzi Basic Writing' translated by Burton Watson. [IMG]

Yes, Burton Watson is one of the best translators, also one of my favourites, well known for translating many Chinese and Japanese works, including Buddhist texts and scriptures. Just in case, don't mix up Xunzi (Hsun Tzu) with Sunzi (Sun Tzu) who wrote Art of War.

Basic writings of Mozi, Xunzi, and Han Feizi by Burton Watson

The Art of War by Sunzi (Sun Tzu), translated by Lionel Giles http://www.puppetpress.com/classics/ArtofWarbySunTzu.pdf (the text proper begins at pg 35 but the translator's preface and introduction is worth reading even if a bit unwieldy)
