I somehow feel the young chinese players have a lot of technical ability but lack guile and deception in their shot making. Both Kai Guo and Huang Yusiang met two good shotmakers in the game ie., Nan Wei and Chong Wei Feng and lost.
China should expose their young players by entering them to play in tournaments overseas below the GPG level and those that perform well should be allowed to play in the higher ranked ones. There is a great difference playing at home and overseas which no amount of coaching can give.
Two players that come to mind are Ye Bing Hao and Lin Gui Pu
