Is it possible to completely close an account and what goes away with it?
What about every post posted and every thread made, do thoose disapear as well?
I've tried to look for it in account settings but wasn't able to find it.

    Thank you in advance.

There are no options for this and forums that have this option are pretty rare.

Your best option is to disable email notifications in your profile/account settings and let the account rot until you come back (or until it is purged if that ever happens).

In Settings -> General Settings, you can choose to not receive emails from admins and friend requests.

You can change your email in Settings -> Edit Email and Password

And finally, in Settings -> Subscriptions, you can remove all subscriptions to all threads, this way you dont receive emails when new messages are posted anymore.

    I hope this helps
