Just wondering if there are any clubs in RWC that would welcome a Canadian visitor? I will be in Redwood City the week of January 29th-Feb 3rd for work, but I should have the evenings free, and I would like to get out and play if at all possible.

Hmm, according to map, the closest club would be..

..none other than GGBC, in Menlo Park : http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=157
    ..btw, welcome to CA, evylgrynn~;)

The closest for you would be GGBC, Bintang, Smash City, then UBC in that order.

YOu can also try Red Morton community center which is in redwood city, it is pretty cheap but the down side is is that the gym is not that good and it opens only on SATs from 3:30 - 8pm

Thanks for all the replies! How far are the closest clubs? I am not familiar with RWC at all, being a small town Canadian boy and all:D
I will find out my work schedule in the next week so hopefully I can schedule some badminton in between. GGBC looks good, I'm assuming that we supply our own shuttles and have to buy a guest pass correct? Are the other clubs also dedicated clubs or drop in?
Please let me know and I really hope I can get out and play!

I think all the clubs are drop ins.
