    Dear all,

I just wanna let the Edmonton folks know that the St. Albert Badminton Club has booked 6 dates at Concordia High during Christmas holidays. Drop-in fee is $4. Each booking start from 7pm to 10pm.

    Here are the dates:

    December 21st, 23rd, 26th, 28th, 30th, and January 3rd.

I will try to make it to the first two dates before I move. Hope to see you there:)!

I too shall try to make it. You know, we should try and go out and get something to eat afterwards, before you take off to BC. I'd have to make sure first, but what do you think? YF, Cappy, you up for it?

It would have to be something that is open late. Since I haven't been back too long, I'm not sure what's good. Any ideas?

    Hi cappy,

I'll be there tonight. Afterwards, we'll go to Sai Woo and get some of that calamari you're talking about. See you there. Hope to see Yonexfanatic too!

    Hey guys,

Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to make it tonight. I don't think I can get a ride as both my parents are busy. Hopefully I'll be able to make it next time!

    Hey Guys,

Here's one last community service I provide before leaving town:p. The organiser of the Christmas-New Year's booking had just informed me that there's has been a change in schedule for the last date of the Concordia booking.

Instead of the 3rd January, the booking has been moved to the next day (4th Jan.)starting from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. Seems that someone else has taken the 7-10pm slot.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a smashing New Year:)!

    Hey buddy,

It's too bad that you couldn't make it last sunday. We had a wonderful time at Concordia and later dined at Sai Woo. Those fried calamari were especially tasty that time:p.

Anyway, I have decided to skip the December 23rd booking to have dinner with my friends before leaving. I will leave on the 26th and won't have much time in between now and the final day cuz I have procrastinated enough on my packing:eek: Catch you later when I return the next time:). Take care!

Yeah, I actually could have made it:(. At first, I didn't have a ride so I made arrangements with my friend to go see ROTK (this was before i got the email from coupii). I later found out that my dad was free that night so he was able to go play badminton. He left, then guess what? My friend cancelled on me to see the movie that night saying his parents couldn't drive.

My dad told me Matt and Drew were playing at Concordia that night (the two twins). I would have liked to get a good game with them, it's been awhile since I've talked to them. Do you know if they play at that club regularly (if you know who I'm talking about)?

Anyways, it's too bad your busy tonight, guess we won't be able to have that final game to see who's supreme:D , just kidding. We probably won't be running into each other for quite a long time so I wish you the best of luck, have a safe trip! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

    Geoff

Yes, the twins were there. I played two matches against them. Lost the first match 2-1, losing the third game quite close, then lost the second match in 2 straight with a different partner (we played a third game just for fun, but I got wasted because I was out of gas by then). They have very impressive jump smashes, quite scary because they are both very tall. Very very fun to play against them. Tired my old bones out though, and they didn't even seem to be trying in the second match!
