As feared, Riyanto Subagja lost to the seeded Pakkawat Vilailak. Another WS players also will return home early. 3 days in Vietnam is enough for them.

Sirnas Jambi is relatively quiet......less players too. No Jeka/Raffi and Rian/Fajar here.

BD Taruna will probably have a new winner as the elite pairs from Jaya Raya and PB Djarum are not competing. I will be keeping an eye on Tedi Supriadi/Yantoni Edy Saputra [8]. They lost in a close match against Rian Swastedian/R. Eka Fajar Kusuma last week. Ditto for Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra [4].

The main challenge will be from Bagus Haryanto/Firman Ramadhan [5], Rizko Asuro/Wildan Atmaja [2]. I am not sure about the top-seed here though.

I think Djarum's GS U-17 : Aida Arum Amanah, Syafitri Nur Azizah & Marsha Indah Salsabila are better to play in U-19.
The quality of our GS are so low, need to push some younger age to compete on higher age category.
Let Fitriyani, Devi Yunita Sari, etc are compete in U-17.

If they are too dominant in U17 in the next few Sirnas... That would be a logical step.

Arinda is through to the GS U19 Quarterfinals in Sirnas Jambi Open. Sehe will face Lya Ersalita [7] next... :D Last week in Sirnas Sumatra Selatan Open, Arinda was defeated by Setyana in the quarterfinals.

    Arinda Sari Sinaga

I guess Arinda Sari Sinaga will beat Lya in QF. And Arinda will probably face Febtria in SF. While Berliyan will face Putri in QF.

    Cool...

Ihsan defeated Jonatan Christy along the way. Jonatan is very strong in smashing, while Ihsan is a classic counter-puncher... hehehe :p In the end, the counter puncher won...

It's an all-Djarum Final in MD as expected. Rian Sukmawan/Rendra Wijaya are expected to win their first Sirnas title this year, after a near miss in the Kalimantan Open 2012.

In BD U-19, with the absence of the usual elites, Tedi Supriadi/Yantoni Edy Saputra have progressed to the Final. They will face Rizko Asuro/Wildan Atmaja. Remember....Tedi Supriadi is only 16, while Yantoni is 14..turning 15 next month! Yantoni graduated from U-15 to U-17 last year and now already plays in U-19!

tedi/yantoni, I think, they are the better pair than their clubmates, arsya/hantoro

I also like the fact that yantoni is a lefty and has a good power smash ;)
