Is there a particular pattern to start out with as in weaving under the first main string it hits? Or can you start with either up or down?

I normally make it I start under first (when considering the full width, need to back calculate a couple when doing the first few crosses) so that when I get to the last string its on top to make i easier to put into the grommet.

    Performance wise no difference.
