    Hi everyone.
The other day when I was playing badminton, I saw a doubles game going on. One of the person served with their feet shoulder length apart and not with one foot in front. I also saw this on a few videos, can someone explain why they serve like that and not with one foot in front and one in back? Does it give an advantage?
    Thanks,
    Timothy

You mean feet side by side. Personal preference. Also makes it easier to cover replies on both fore and backhand sides.

I agree with visor. There is no advantage to doing it this way, and there are no disadvantages either.
