And I was looking forward to watch them play :(

Thought they might have a slight chance to take no 2 spot before Olympics if they nail this tournament...

Not even a chance. The difference between Towi/Butet and Xu/Ma is quite huge...not to mention Towi/Butet still have to defend huge pts from winning the India SS (which they will defend next month), Singapore SS and reaching the Final of INA SSP.

Taufik Hidayat is in good form now, esp his Axiata Cup performance(particularly beating Darren Liew convincingly), good to see him back to his best, almost.

Happy to read Chen Jin is playing after all, he shouldn't pass up any chance to improve his ranking points, with only three more OG qualifying tournaments left by 29th Apr.

LXR is in the tougher half of the draw with Tai TY, Inthanon R, Ai Goto, Mitani M, Eriko H, Baey YJ, in my opinion. Besides LXR, I'm really looking forward to Han Li's performance. She's once more put to the mill, having previously failed to take the Korea Open GPG losing to Sung JY. Han Li,if she made it thru the Q stage, is slated to be in the bottom half of the draw and may meet Sung JY again, this time in the SF. Also keen to see Wang Lin making a comeback, hope she can play herself back into shape and regain her former strength.
