TTY is also a much smarter player than Sun Yu, deceptive players usually are very smart.

Sun Yu got to improve her shot variation as she's not deceptive

Again, Sun Yu gets the return she wants and mishit it , A top notch mentally strong player seldom makes such mistakes.

When TY is stretched thin at the back, she crosses flat, one of her favourite out-of-position shots, but Sun Yu never learns.

In the CHN camp, it used to be Wang Shixian who is the smartest, wittiest and most deceptive as well as strong-willed, tenacious, but, unfortunately lacking the smash. Nowadays, it's He Bingjiao who is a combination of Wang Shixian and Li Xuerui, however she is still young and not experienced enough, need some more time to realize her fullest potential. Very much hope to see her get there soon one day.

Sung Ji Hyun stopped TTY yesterday. May be the same outcome should they meet tomorrow. Depends on Sindhu later.

Exactly, that tells you even more what I fear about her, she got to persevere all the way throughout the tournament, tenciously and consistently.

Her inability to convert 7 matchpoints in G2 against Marin is a sign of her mentality, not tough enough.
