    Hi Swijaya,

I think you need to be more specific so that people (perhaps me :) ) know what they order.

Are they shot by yourself? If so, what camera is used? (There's a *tremendous* diffence whatching footage from a cheap DV-camera vs. a $15.000 3CCD Sony). Where are they shot from (in realtion to the court). Is the video real 480-line MPEG-2 (DVD quality or near).

If it isn't recorded by yourself, are they TV-broadcasts? Taken from an analog or digital transmission? What language is the commentary?

Is it region coded (locked from other players that region 1).

    thanks!

They are TV broadcast ... in English ... near DVD quality ... if you ask me to rate 1 - 10 ... i would give 8-8.5

region 3 ... should be fine if you are using DVD ROM or multi systems DVD players

also ... i have around 100GB left over up to 10th November ... if you guys would like to download men's doubles final dannish open 03 between ha/kim vs chandra/halim

please feel free to visit the url below:

    http://64.191.5.91/mens_doubles_final_dannish_open_03.mpg

give me another 10 minutes to move the files over.

They are around 800MB ... converted to MPG format from the DVD ...

    Ok thanks,

Well, region 3 is not so easy to play for everyone. Regardless whether it's a computer DVD player or standalone, it needs to be region 0/3/multiregion or regionfree-made, although I agree that its easier on computers, especially since the newest region defeating programs don't even require a modified firmware for the drive.

The video I downloaded from your server is MPEG-1, 352 x 288. I really hope that the DVD's you're selling aren't of this quality. If I understood you correctly, these clips are converted from MPEG-2 (DVD) to MPEG-1, if so, it's OK.

Btw. there was some error when the MPEG-1/VCD clips were made, could you replace them for us? Would be nice to watch that game..

Are the DVDs made by you or are they commercial? Would you rate any of them as of higher quality than the others?

    garlic ...

not too sure overseas ... but in singapore all of the newer dvd players will come with region free.

i use super dvd ripper to convert the file to MPEG 1 ...

does anyone know any better software to convert to smaller file?

basically ... i convert the broadcast into dvd format using dvd recorder.

I use DVD2SVCD. It consists of a package of tools, namely the dvd ripper, frame-serving application, subtitle extraction, audio extractor and encoder, video encoder(mpeg1 and mpeg2), multiplexer and burner. There are many other tools, but they do not support subtitles.

This makes use of TMPGENC mpeg-1 encoder to encode to MPEG1. The part which loses quality from DVD to vcd is the encoder.TMPGENC is the best mpeg 1 encoder - u must choose Highest quality Mode for near-perfect translation from dvd. Its encoding algorithm is excellent, but high/highest quality mode can take > 6 hr depending on ur PC machine.

I have been converting many dvds and the quality is as clear as the dvd but of course lower resolution and sharpness, no blockiness(unless u choose low quality mode). I can say i am very demanding on quality matters :)

Hi! Are all of this videos going to be available for download at badmintingallery.com (or at least MS;))? I see that you've already putted 2 denmark and 9 WC matches?
With some of them I have problems watchig, and with some I don't. For example with Jonnasen v. Xuanze there are no problems. However Kuncoro v. WC Hann is full of errors, same as denmark open finals. The errors are different depending on a player (codec) I use. If I play the file in PowerDVD 5.0 (which uses it's own codec) I get a lot of garbage on the screen, but playback is fluid. On the other side , if I use any other player (QT, MediaPlayer, RealPlayer, Zoom player, BsPlayer - which share the same codec-dirctx filter, probably the one that comes with ffdshow) I get extremely jerky playback. [IMG] Which codec do you use?
One more thing, all the files are named world_championships_03_quarter_final_xx.mpg for the WC. This way we don't know what we are downloading. Is it possible to rename files or put an file description somehere? Thanks for everything, though.
