I think they should make it in English as well.

Have to agree with that. There is limited potential for the overseas markets. Prices aren't stated as well.

I'd like to see that bit on their background in English. That would be interesting.

    hi, all..
i have been emmy sports. The selling attitude of the boss is shitty!!!!!! although it offers a bit cheaper price compared to the other sports companies in Mong Kok, i am still willing to purchase stuff in other stores....do u guys think so?

    Lok,

I maybe wrong. Is this address supposed to be Rose's? If this is correct, is Emmy Sports taking over Rose's location?

I appreciate if anyone can verify this. Thanks

Well since I guess those guys don't make a lot money, maybe they act like that. Form what I know since my parents were born in HK, lots of stores are like that.

Thanks, Buddy. 'Cause I remember Emmy Sports is located at 2nd floor of Sin Tat Plaza, which is a 10 minutes walk from 97 Fa Yuen Street.

    Cheung,

Don't bother. I was wrong. Rose's address is 39 Fa Yuen Street. Looks like Emmy Sport is expanding, as their shop in Sin Tat Plaza can barely have 3 people standing inside. But I agree the owner isn't a good salesman.

    Thanks, bud.

There is another badminton shop called Cheung's. I forgot where they are located when I was in HK for vacation last year. The older gentleman that owns the store is a good salesman. Very courteous and nice. His prices are very competitive with great selection. All I can remember is the location is very close to Mong Kok. A few stations from Mong Kok MRT station. Lastly, I went to Luxis to get my badminton gear. :)

Here's an update on dealing w/ the boss at Emmy. My Dad picked up an MP88 for me and the guy's whole attitude changed when he wanted to bargain. Racket is authentic, but boss attitude sucks. My message, go somewhere else! Personally I'll try Luxus or Mister Keen next time.

Actually, lots of shops in HK don't like customers to bargain. On the surface it's all smiles but after the hard-bargaining customer(s) go out the door, the not-so-nice words flow from mouth of the shop keeper(s). :D :D :D
