    i dont think it is a fake.
    quite old model and it is not high end.
    shaft and serial number?

    Stem serial no. 2871137 and handle 281094AS

    Does this mean its a 94 or 09 model???

    just cut that factory's string. they are useless.
    restring it with your own prefered and ready to go.
