Hi! I just joined, and am hoping to get started playing badminton again. I played for a year on a high school team, and enjoyed it a lot, but had to quit playing for a while. I just moved to Seattle, Washington, and am hoping to get started playing again, in order to get myself back in shape. I am a beginning, being as I have not played in a while and am out of shape, so I'm a little hesitant to just go to an open gym or anything! I'm trying to find a class to take, but cannot seem to find one that meets my needs. I also have no one to start with, so if anyone would like to go to the gym together anytime, please let me know! Hope to get back into it!

Welcome xpostergirl, I had met a couple people from IL before and it seems that IL high schools are quite competitive in baddy. Hope you have more fun playing.

Welcome! I hope you find someone in your area to hit with. If not, check out open gyms at schools... they'll probably have lower calibre players you can build your confidence with.
