    hello everyone at BC,

ive actually been a member for quite some time now but ive only come back to read the forums for the past few weeks. however i don't believe ive ever *officially* introduced myself. well, im only at beginner standard even though ive been playing for 5 years. at least i think so. played for school mostly and we've never had a coach... self taught from watching professionals play on my dad's tvbj
to tell the truth i came for some sympathy. today my school team played in the finals against mlc, plc and toorak, with all very good badminton players and we got thrashed... it was simply embarassing! :crying: we made a quick exit after the matches were finished.
my friend and i have made it our goal to find any way to improve our skills for next year. and what a good place to start but at BC!

    sorry about the rant! ;)

    ^^Welcome..^^

..to BCDF, lemonxtea!:)..Hey, don't worry about your team being trashed by a bunch of very good teams/players. I'm sure those very good teams/players had their own taste of being thrashed when they were not so good themselves. After all, what you wrote is right on: Only way up is to improve. Btw, for more places and groups you can play with, you can hover on over to the Places to Play/Local Events->Australia sub-forum.
Anyway, do visit us often & enjoy surfing here!;)
