    I wrote almost all of that article: Wikipedia's badminton article.

    It's nice to see my writing being exploited all over the net. :rolleyes: All perfectly legal, of course -- Wikipedia allows copying of its material.

    I suppose I should take it as a form of recognition.

    Yeah, it was the "Yonex article". Somebody deleted it probably because they didn't feel it was very "encyclopedic".

    My real name is "Mike Hopley". If you're really curious, you can look at the Wikipedia article edit history to discover which parts are my contributions.

    Basically, I wrote everything except for "history", "governing bodies", and "competitions" (which I edited for grammar/style). I also didn't write the "see also", "references", or "external links" sections (though I did successfully argue for the inclusion of a BC link, against apparent editorial bias towards badders.com).

    It's been a long time since I touched the article; I got bored of it. As far as I can see, nothing significant has changed since then. What it really needs now is pedantic fiddling and some print references, in order to stand a chance of satisfying the criteria for featured articles.
