Yes, Gong Weijie was the runner-up in World Junior MS. He is a very good player - disguises his strokes well, excellent net control and clinical smashes. I am surprised GWJ being able to beat Peter Gade, maybe PG did not have a good day.

What a topic to grab the attention, "Holy *toot*!!!". ;)

China China, they seem to produce to no end young stars and PG is going past his prime already. I am not surprised if he is beaten since stamina-wise he already lost. GWJ is sure to be highly enthusiastic and full of new tricks.

Sounds like someone to look out for.

You just had to go to the World Junior thread and should find their pictures. Here you go, a picture taken by our friend WWCBRO:

From what I've seen in the World Juniors finals, he may be even better than Chen Jin. Though he lost to Chen Jin, he dominated the match. Chen Jin rarely had the initiative and was most of the times in a defensive situation. A very aggressive player with very good overall skills, moves his opponents around well before unleashing the finishing stroke. Stamina does not seem to be his strong point at this moment.

Definetly a player to watch in the future.
