A friend of mine was at a local sport check the other day and he bought a
Titanium PRO60 which was at retail for 200.But he switches the tape on the handles so he only paid 29.99.This racket isn't that great at all.I guess yonex canada gives out some SP stuff once in a while. It came wiht the nice basketball material case and not the cheap ones yy canada gives.Weird how a carbon Graphite racket could cost up too 200CND dollars

You have a thief as a friend Howard. I hope you are intelligent enough to understand that and a decent enough person to see that he acted not just wrongly, but criminally.

Well hes not really a friend, just a school mate that i say hi to once in a while.I could care less since its comig from sports check. Sport checks buys over a 600 of each racket a year from yonex to ship to there stores in canada. Because of this they get huge discount prices like maybe 20-35 CND for a iso 97 and probably like 50-60 for a iso250long.And they charge REG 139.99 for 97 VF and 169.99 for they 250LONG.
But the 97 is on sale most of the time for 100.THey charge more then double what they get t for so i don't feel worng about no confronting him.

I'm not saying what he's doin is rite at all , but what he is doin and who he is doin to doesn't give me a good enough reason to tell some one about this.

He has only done this about 5 times for 2 iso 97's one ti pro 60 and 2 iso 77's.

.. think it should read this way the heading ...

Yes what you say of the 97VF is true. It can be bought in Singapore at some stores for SG$49.9. Which works out to be CN$41.5. So its about CN$30 for the cost price of the racket.

so considering he's done this 5 times, with this latest time a theft of $170, let's say the others averages $100, he could be charged with fraud over $500. And you wonder why most people have to pay more due to shoplifting? The justification of the stores making a profit is such a lame excuse.

Howard, if a store's prices are too high, the correct thing to do is to shop elsewhere, not change the prices. A person's feelings about the fairness of a vendor's prices won't be an excuse in court if the person is arrested for fraud or theft by false pretenses.
