Woo-hoo!! I will be going to a Honda dealer place this afternoon for shopping a new car!! :)

The car I have now: 1994 Honda Accord EXL
The car I will buy: 2004 Honda Accord EXL  (Big Honda Fan)
I have been to several dealer places, and I am currently working on the price.
One place gave me the quote on the MSRP, along with little discount. So I am going to another place to knock the price down further more.

I will let you guys know tonight.

By the way, do you guys think the Fog Lights are useful or useless?

I just recently purchase a sport-utility SUV. Words of advice..."you should never have to pay MSRP!"

Unless you have money to shove into the gas tank, search the web on how to get the best deal when buying a car. As MSRP stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, doesn't mean there's no negotiating plus there will always be some kind of dealer/buyer incentives.

    Happy VROOM VROOM!
    Cheers!

YEAH!! I just got back from the Honda dealer, and I have already signed up for one :)!!

    Car:
2004 Honda Accord EX with Leather and XM radio, 4Dr, AT, and silver color.

They don't have a silver one today, so they are going to order one, and it should arrive in 2 days.

    The price:
Honda MSRP is $24300 plus Destination & Handling is $490, so the MSRP Total is $24790. (This price is ridiculous high)

The deal I got is $23000, and plus they will give me the accessories that I requested for free, including Fenderwell Trim, Splash Guards, and Mask.
Then, at the end of the dealing, I requested a free Trunk Tray, see if they will give me that, too :p

    My old Car:
I just posted my old car on my college newsgroup, and I sold it in like 10 minutes. (A guy tested my car this morning and he liked it a lot. So he already gave me the deposit for it. And I will do the rest of the paperworks with him after I got the new car in couple days)

    Now:
I have been shopping for the car for days, and dealing with dealers have made me become very tired. Now I just need to go to my racket cabinet and choose a racket to take a nap with me ;)

Mine is 2003 EX-V6. Powerful engine indeed. One thing, however, I feel this big car quite slippery on wet road. It is no fun at all when snow driving.

EXV6 is great option to have, however, I was looking for a 4-cylinder car because it gives me better gas milleages. Since I live in the city(s), so the speed is not important since there are traffic everywhere and it's hard to drive fast in cities.

Slippery? perhaps you should get different tires and that should help.
I had Bridgestone BT70s and they work awesome!! :)

Echo, Corolla, and Matrix are great on gas and utility. Another option is VW Golf TDI (diesel).

I tried a V6 and 4-cylinder. Man, is the V6 heavy. Very noticable at corners, where the 4-cylinder just zips through, but the extra weight for the V6 made the car feel "bulky."

The tires are the original from dealer. They are Michelin MXV4... 91V.. and size P205/160/R16. Dave could be right because V6 is about 200 lbs bulkier than a V4 thus causing the problem. For the time being I am not considering to change/upgrade tires because I have doubt even if do so. Dave, I can zip through corners but with scary scratching-tire-sound. Anyway, I love this car because it has all the major Luxury at such a price range.

Yes, the Accords are sweet cars. I wouldn't mind the V6 model myself, but opted for the 4-cyl (1997) instead. Cabin is a bit noisy (wind, tire) compared to American makes, but not too distracting. Civic's are even worse though.

saturn: sticker price as per company practice
toyota: sticker price because sales are great.
honda: wiggle room because sales are down.

honda vs toyota, it's a personal preference. Each has its + and -.

Wonder if this warrants a "BF New Car Pics" thread. In cooler's case, he might need landscape mode, plus stitching two photographs together, in case you get an oldies LOOOOOOOONG car.

Man I'd really like to own a late 1970's Cadillac with a montrous V8 in it. I just know the gas expenditure will kill me though. Saw one real cherry on my way to work last week.
