Expected....these two players are the most talented of the ones we have. Agree that its time for Febby to be exposed to GP and some GP Gold events. She could win valuable ranking pts for seedings at the WJC.

    Rendy got a Rp15m bonus!

    From Kompas.
Rendy Raih Bonus Rp 15 jt.

Beberapa mantan pebulu tangkis Indonesia seperti Hariyanto Arbi, Fung Permadi, Antonius sampai Vita Marissa, yakin Rendy punya talenta khusus menjadi andalan di ganda putra.

Partial translation (lazy to do all...hehe)
Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto (17 yo) received a cash bonus of Rp15m from PB Djarum and Flypower for winning the Asian Junior Championships 2009 with Angga Pratama. It's not impossible that he and his partner will be among the World's top MD pair and hopefully become a worth successor to Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan.

The head of PB Djarum, FX Supanji also said that as long as he's in the right hands, he will become a World Champion in a young age  Rendy decided to stop schooling and will focus on advancing his badminton career.

In addition, some of the ex-Pelatnas players like Haryanto Arbi, Fung Permadi, and Vita Marissa agreed that Rendy has a special talent that could make him become INA's hope in MD. Fung Permadi also claimed that Rendy is flexible enough with whoever he partnering and that is one of the asset to reach the top! -- note: we have seen that with Ryan Agung Saputra in last year's WJC (reach QF) and this year's AJC with Angga Pratama.

Rendy has no specific target this year, but his main priority will definitely be making it to the main team for the upcoming London 2012. Rendy also mentioned that he's in the best form this year and naturally the Olympics Gold will be his main priority!

I thought Didit Juang is still playing with Seiko Wahyu in Taruna (U-19)???

For the 3 Pratama pairs, all are competing in the Adults Division I presume?
    - Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Angga Pratama
    - Rizky Yanu Kresnayandi/Albert Saputra
    - who is the other pair??? Kevin Alexander????

    Rendra-Rendra-Rendra

I got information that because PB Djarum coaches estimate that Didit's physical condition cannot allow him to play 5 weeks of continuous tournaments, so we see Rendra-Seiko just for this tournament.

Next week, for the National Circuit in Surabaya, East Java, Didit-Seiko will resume their partnership. They will also play together in the Astec Indonesia Challenge 2 weeks from now. We will see Rendra-Anggun for the next 2 tournaments. And then, we will see Rendra-Candra in Macau Open Gold GP and Taipei Open Gold GP... :p

After beating Riyanto in 3 games during the SF, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito or more commonly called Vito of Djarum eventually won the U-19 [Taruna] BD beating Subhan Hasan of Jaya Raya... Vito is only 15 while Subhan is 17...

So, now both Vito and Riyanto now had collected 1 'Taruna National Circuit' title belts each... I heard some experts start to predict that Vito [15 years old] and Riyanto [16 years old] could be rival INA stars of the future. It is interesting to note that their playing styles are vastly different. Vito is obviously a talented counter-puncher [appears to be defensive but actually setting up traps, not 'boring defensive' style] whle Riyanto naturally likes to attack with sharp shots...

PBSI SHOULD also sent their 2nd team players like Tommy Sugiarto and Nugroho Andi Saputro to the domestic circuits. These players are left to rot in Pelatnas without any titles and early exits everytime they enter GP level tourneys and above.

Just heard that Darmiko/Jones Ralfy Jansen won their first BD title in Sirkuit Nasional Tegal, Taruna Division (U-19). Because Nurbeta is away in Thailand, Jones also won the XD title with Yayu Rahayu.

Johanes Rendy Sugiarto is paired with Rizki because Pelatnas coaches is still trying to find the right partner for him
