    Of the many developing Caribbean countries,Trinidad and Tobago has brought up a wide array of talent.Of its many members one of the talented players coming up through its ranks is Kris Sookdeo.Currently 15 Years Old,Kris Started Badminton at the young age of 10.He won his first medal in the national junior tournament of 2006.He overcame all odds and made it to the finals were he first gained his recognition and fame.Kris had developed through the years and accumulated 12 meadals through various tournaments in the 5 years since.His most recent endevour was to the 2009 18th Pan American Junior championships where he proudly represented his country of Trinidad and Tobago.Kris trains 5- days a weekand has had overcome various obsticles which threatened to hinder his career.He is currently attending Presentation College Chaguanas and is recgnized as an astute and nationally recognized individual after being one of the top 100 students in the 2005 SEA examinations and his various other nationally acclaimed achivements including medals in school and national chess tournaments,musical intrumental progress,social work,bridge building engineering certificates and other extra and co ciricular acivities.He is currently training for the 2009 badminton tours at the years end to Mexico and Suiname
