    So, now it is official:

Thomas Laybourn and Peter Steffensen split up, to pair up with Lars and Jonas, respectively.

Jonas gets paired up with Peter Steffensen, while Lars' new partner is Thomas Laybourn.

The mind of a national coach works in mysterious ways, and this choice I can't quite see the logic behind. I would have opted for the other way around. But hey -- it's not my job to, is it? :)

    Future will tell.

In pic 1, Thomas Laybourn is the righty while Steffensen is the lefty..
In pic 2, of course, we all know which one is our own JR and which one is Lars(the guy smashing at back)..:)

    Interesting decision..

And I hope that the Danish coaches have made the right decision..

We had other suggestions here in BF http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28234

My suggestion was to split up Mogensen/Boe and pair them with Lars/Jonas. That happened in a team match last night, which I watched.. Jonas/Carsten Mogensen played against Lars/Mathias Boe... Personally, I had thoght the combination should be the opposite if it was a permanent combination aiming to do well in international tournaments, but this was a team match, so the combinations were given..

And what do you all think the outcome was..?

I am sure most would think that Jonas/Carsten Mogensen would be the better double.. but they lost.. 15/12 15/2.. And the game was played at their home turf.. which brings me to the question to Jonas... What went wrong? It seamed that particularly Mathias Boe intervened frequently at net and was able to put you under pressure.. and it seemed that he was quite "pumped" about the occasion.. what was that.. was that rivalry between Mogensen and him or what.. ???

Just asking... why did Jonas/Lars split up?? was it that they were not performing well enough or were there other reasons??
