actually there is alot of thread on WMC but nothing on Julia Wong. She is being groom to be the malaysia no 2 after Wong Mew Choo and she is also vying for a place in Olympic. Anybody got any information about her.

Today she beat Salajit of Thailand in Korea Open and she has a good chance to progress if she can get pass Zhang Ning or Petya in the 2nd round.

it's a big ask for her to beat zhang ning ... doesn't look very likely.

Yes she is quite short, plays a running rally style much like WMC. Did reasonably well against ZN, but got injured in the closing moments of the match.

This lil girl has proven to be quite consistent in India Open hasnt she? Reaching the semi after toppling the top favorite Saina Nehwal in the quarter.

Congratulations Julia! WMC is no longer alone! Let's hope that she can reach the final!

What you think will be the future of MAS, Julia Wong

Well, i think she certainly has a bright future in WS. Although she lost to Pi in India Open. I think it is bcoz she lack more in experience n a little in skills as opposed to Pi who has lots of experience n skills.

Well, Julia sure has bright future as she will progress into great world beater. Anyway, what is the age of Julia? What you think of her future?

I am proud of your achievement in India Open. All the best :D

Ya, i think WMC is better. But given little more time Julia will catch up. As WMC already age 26 if not mistaken. WMC always get injury. This makes me crazy. If she can be free fr injury, sure she will be great. Both WMC n Julia have tremendous fighting spirit. The girls are great!!!

Julia won against Saina.. her revenge for their last encounter in the Philippine Open final where she lost to Saina.

She should be proud of herself even when she lose to Pi HongYan. Lack in experience and the scoreline is close. It will be her time soon.
