and BLACK! Very nice, perhaps it's the next Carbonex 20 in the making (just a wild guess, could be way off)?

...but the original Cab 20 is worth so much now. Therefore, it is high time for Yonex to crank out another one of those? About time, yeah?;)

I think that even if you're advance level 13-13,5kg should be enough. If the racket head really should be able to withstand a maximum pulling tension of 19kg, I actually wouldn't mind. Some how it says somethin' about the stability of the frame and the used material that obviously would have been improved.

But well, even if it is hard to wait, folks would be helped using the time to train and test the racket on release rather then hype or speculate on new gear and buy it blindly on release. ;)

I'd be very surprised if Yonex actually end up posting the "legally" allowed string tension at 19 kg. More likely, they may advertise it for 29 lbs or thereabouts...

haven't read the whole thread, so this might not be news to you:

i had the new voltric in my hands on saturday. unfortunately i wasn't allowed to play with it...:crying:
it felt quite light, a bit lighter than my V80 maybe.

it'll be released at the All England.

So i just looked through most of the Z Slash thread looking for a post, that i'm sure i put there (its either there, or in the SW35 thread which i havent check yet)

but basically, I merely suggested some improvements for the Z Slash, involving increasing the BP and increasing the stiffness. I wonder if what i suggested, has been implemented here...

I wonder if Yonex listen/read about customer suggestions :p

don't know (i don't care too much bout technical details, colors and that kind of stuff), just had it in my hands for like 5 seconds, then the yonex-man took it back and put it back in his locker. felt good (as far as you can tell from 2 swings in the air...;)). he said that he just tested it and that it feels quite light/not too head heavy while playing. and that it'll come out at the AE. i'm sorry, no detailed review from me...;)

hard to say for me, as it was really just for some seconds in my hand. but if i have to give an answer, i would say it's probably less head heavy than VT80.

    A closer look

    Just found this on badmintoncn.com

    1201241406803763f01c083152.jpg

You can clearly see that the frame is similar to the Z-Slash's grommet pattern with the 10 single pass grommets in the centre. It looks to me that red is going out of fashion with the colour scheme in favour of metallic green.

From what I can see, it seems that this particular one was done with a 1 piece 2 knot pattern, with the shorter mains tie-off (or starting, only the stringer knows) at bottom 8 and the top cross tie-off at top 12.
