Based on the waves on the shaft, it must be a Voltric. I also cannot imagine he's playing with a new Nanoray because it's the opposite of head heavy.

Intrigued, but wouldn't it be a bit unusual for Yonex to release another High end Voltric at the start of this year? Usually it wouldn't be for at least a couple of months...

The pattern on the shaft similar with VT series. I think it's a Voltric :)

    Dear Master T,

I think all professional athletes are over paid big babies. On the other hand, their argument is their contributions (winning or good look or whatever) is helping manufactures selling items. They should be pay based on that. IMHO, just like your know what, every one has a price...

    Have a wonderful new year.

It has yellow accents in the wave. Cool. Maybe Voltric 90 like some have suggested. I wonder what the specs are? I'm thinking a VT90 would be just as head heavy as VT80 but stiffer . And then next year will be Voltric 100  (more head heavy and more stiffer than VT80).

Could be just me but if you look closely on the shaft where the White and Black split, is that an "L" in gold font?

Having said that though, the VT80 splits it's colour in a very similar way on the shaft too.

Another possibility is it is a new Arcsaber or at least an evolution of the Z-Slash as that splits it's colour in a slant too (Z-Slash & Z-Slash TH both do this). If it is a new Arcsaber.... *goosebumps*

I'd be pissed if it's just a paint job.

    VT80.
    VT80LTD.
    VT80LCW.

And I just might be the sucker to get it too :p

Probably. It'd be out of LCW's character to pick up an Arcsaber (even if it possibly is a new one) all of a sudden. He seems to favour his sledgehammers.

Like Canucks I too might be the sucker to get it, though if it's a VT I may think twice.

I don't think this is some mere LCW re-paint of the VT80 - the string pattern is definitely a Z-Slash special. It could be the V90 if it's scheduled for an AE 2012 release. Having the same racket in three different liveries is cynnical even for Yonex... but then I suppose they've done FOUR versions of the SHB-85...

I watched his match and I found that the head is a bit like the Z-Slash
