there was media reports that says Li Mao has been rehired to Korea to coach. this time, instead of coaching the men singles player, he is coaching the ladies single.

    Don't think so.

If you have the 97 WC Sun Jun/Ramussen final, isn't Li Mao one of the guys carrying Sun Jun off court?

    That is not Li Mao.

Li Mao must be bald by now.

Besides Li Mao looks fierce not as jovial looking as that bald Korean guy.

Look at any old 1996 World Cup or 1997 Gp/World cup finals,

Li Mao is the balding guy coaching Dong Jiong and Sun Jun.

There is a guy who wears a heavy coat and a cap, never smiles, and sits taking notes whenever a male Chinese singles player has a match. The TV cameras go to him for reaction shots. He's on camera at the AE singles semifinal between Lin Dan and Budi Santoso. Is this Li Mao?

Whoever he is, his leather cap and heavy leather coat is a big improvement over the black baseball cap and long purple nylon coat he used to wear :)
