    Can someone confirm this??..

..i was chatting with a fellow badder this past weekend, and he told me Li Ning actually bought another baddy company/brand, DHS (Double Happiness, which also makes baddy equipments such as rackets, shoes, shuttles), as part of its investment..

    Is this true??..

Yup, DHS was/is(?) owned by a subsidary of Li Ning. However, DHS is known more for ping pong than badminton.

To you it doesnt sound appealing but to 1/5 of the world's population who are mandarin speakers, Li Ning sounds much more appealing than yonex or victor since chinese people refer to these brands as yy, sometimes yone-kex, and victor as 'Sheng Li' - i.e. the chinese translation. Appeal is a matter of opinion and i am sure Li Ning's target market isnt much bigger than just you.

It seems that it's going to be LN racekts, not Kason rackets.

wow looks nice... ei then the situation now kinda like Korea last time they use Yonex gears but now switch to Victor expect the shoes ......:), badminton starts to look more like football now , Adidas sponsors Chelsea FC while thier players Drogba & Anelka wears Nike & Puma boots respectively...

ya the way the paint job goes, it does remind me of the arc 10 except it's brown/bronze color... wonder how it plays and how much it cost... When I visited China during the Olympics I remember the Li-Ning stuff are not cheap, comparable to actually Nike and Adidas in price, I saw the table tennis jersey they had, it cost around $600 RMB...
