    Thanks for the info.

The Adult early bird season ticket price cost $25 this year compared to $18 last year (excluding Sistic fee). This equates to a 38.888% increase.

The Premium Adult early bird season ticket price cost $80 this year compared to $50 last year (excluding Sistic fee). This equates to a 60% increase.:eek::eek:

Is Singapore Open now a six-star event?

I was also disappointed with the Premium Adult Season Ticket which increased by 60%! :(

I'm waiting for you, scanner or others with connection to bring me in. :D

Economy is picking up, they said.

Indoor stadium has no other choices, but to use this moment to bump up the leasing.

Lastly, the company has no other options, but to squeeze more $$ from all the badminton fans.

    Oh you're in S'pore now? :)
Or did I mistaken you for one that we met in KL?

No idea whether fastdrop will drop by. He usually does.

Maybe you can give him a friendly PM? :D

Actually the early bird season tickets are real cheap! I'm sure the fans love this.
Better don't consult your opposition MP lest he might be booted out the next time.

The ticket price here compared to the ticket of similar level events in China is really very cheap! Even cheaper than Malaysia. But the overall income here is much higher than China. Badminton in China is a luxury activity. ;)

Yonex need to up the game. ;) Lining merchandise is still expensive because of the amount of exuberance sponsorship commitment to the elites. ;)

Just wonder whether you own any Li Ning merchandise.
I wish I have a Li Ning racket, but maybe my standard does not deserve one!

Just found out the Li Ning Singapore Open is now a Premier event according to the BWF website (am trying to convince myself to attend )

    http://www.bwfbadminton.org/page.aspx?id=16648

The BWF Superseries is a 12 tournaments series designed to attract the top 32 players from around the world and finally competing in the BWF World Superseries Finals for the top 8 players and pairs in the Superseries points standing. Following a review of its events in 2010, the BWF decided introduce a two-tier Superseries circuit – the Superseries Premier and Superseries for the 2011-2013 season.
From the 12 Superseries events, five have been selected as Premier Series events, with the Korea Open offering USD1.2 million prize money, the highest ever for a badminton tournament. Hosted from January through to December each year the events are usually hosted in pairs in a similar region of the world – in mid January, Proton Malaysian Superseries kicks off the year followed by the the Victor Korean Superseries Premier.
