The more we curse the better he performs. guys lets stop praising him n continue ragging!
Troll of the day
Starting at 4 hours 40 minutes, we can see the full match of Liew Daren vs Sasaki Sho and Hoon Thien How/Tan Wee Kiong vs Hiroyuki Endo/Hayakawa Kenichi
Come on tan chung Seng was the best of his batch that include Daren, Wei fend ....
Disagree. He never performed well even when he was back in BAM. Back then, all of them were taking turns going out in the early rounds. Exposure after becoming independent has certainly helped him improve. Also, since Liew Daren and Chong Wei Feng have been sent regularly to SS, they have also improved.
yes they didn't achieve much internationally, I meant locally tcs was the best in this batch of players.
well tcs won the most title from this batch.
He was also the player of his batch that has beaten NTM so far in vietnam open !
tonight DL vs Hu Yun, will DL able to beat him...?!
Liew Daren has bad record against Hu Yun.
Liew Daren played 3 games yesterday.
I saw Hu Yun wins.
Wow, he actually proved me wrong and beat Hu Yun in 2 games.
Tomorrow is QF day... which is his cursed day, never being past of a QF of an SS tournament before. And he's up against the formidable 2nd seed Sasaki Sho.
He beat Sasaki last week...if he wins, he can possibly go to the final
Cant believe how badly he's playing!!!
Ha ha ha... Good joke of the day
He is really taking good advantage of the absence of top chinese player and lee chong wei...
And why not
Not all players can play in all tournaments. He really needs the points to establish himself as Malaysia's number one player . I just checked the rankings and Darren Liew is only one place ahead of Chong Wei Feng. (soon to change)
LCW might have had to play in Denmark to fulfill contract requirements. Never know all the small print behind these things.
JOJ played very well in last week's Denmark Open......just hope LDR could produce good badminton to challenge JOJ this time.....!!
'smash king' Liew Daren cruised to French Open final by defeating Jan O' Jorgensen in 3 games...!!
and next opponent is former WJC Viktor Axelsen... Good Luck~~!!
I don't really rate his chances in the final, although he has certainly exceeded all expectations in reaching the final, just like Viktor Axelsen. He was pretty much on his last legs and giving whatever is left in his gas tank towards the end against Jan O' Jorgensen in the form of smashes . Almost all his smashes then were winners! But I think that's due to the fact that Jan' O Jorgensen had already run out of gas though.
I find Daren service style very weird
