Anyone who ever watched a game (especially doubles) with top Korean shuttlers has certainly noticed that, after a winning rallye, they usually shout something that sounds like 'ah-ssa' or 'ah-sha'.

Does anyone who speaks Korean know exactly what they say?

    Thanks!

    Dude,

It's like equivalent to exclaiming "ya!"
    nothing earthshattering

Thanks for the answer, but does it mean something specific? Is it a word or a phrase?

I am not Korean, but my guest is like saying 'yeah' and how do you translate Homer 'Doh!' to other language? You can't, it just a expression like 'yeah'.

    I understand that. ;-)

I just want to know if it's a Korean D'oh or a 'real' word or expression, like 'Come on' or 'Yes' in English, for instance.
